Formed in 2018
HELP US, HELP THEM Animal Rescue is an independent, 100% foster-based animal rescue located in Ferndale, Michigan. Our mission is to play an active role throughout our community by Lending A Helping Hand to animals that were either abandoned, in shelters, unwanted, homeless, chained outdoors, or victims of prior abuse and/or neglect. Our rescue family has accomplished this by setting up each animal and their new families up for success by educating and consulting pet parents about what's in the best interest of their pets overall well-being, and creating an awareness in our community about the vital importance of fully vetting and spaying or neutering their pets.
We pride ourselves on always having the animals best interest at heart, as well as the best interest of each family looking to adopt a new addition into their family. Please let us know if you have any questions,

OUR WORK
ADVOCACY
HUHT believes proper training of both pets and owners leads to successful loving homes for all animals. We can recommend trainers and classes to help with any anxiety, fear or destructive behavior.
VETERINARY CARE
HUHT partners with local veterinary clinics from all over metro Detroit to ensure that all of its animals are full vetted as soon as possible. All animals are spayed/neutered and microchipped before being adopted out. (Puppies require a refundable spay/neuter deposit.)
